That's breathtaking, Jester! The forms and shapes around the nose look superb, very very realistic and convincing. And that exhaust!

Thanks for the encouragement and thanks for spotting those problems BH.
I had fixed the wing rout lighting at one point but I think somewhere between the G-6 to G-2 conversion the folder got binned. Such is life.
So put it back from an older template then took a much needed long hard look at the whole thing. The extra details on the bomb/tank rack are in the same folder as the drop tank and that got rubbed off too.

I’m not sure if I like as much now or not, but according to photographs and diagrams of cross section and such, it should be more accurate.
See what you make of it . . . .

It’s like anything, look too hard and long at your subject, you lose the ability to see.

Superb! Sell your PSD file to BH for $ 1,500. Plus $ 3,000 if he doesn't want a flattened PSD but the real McCoy. Plus, naturally, $ 50 for shipping by 1st class email.

Vacajun, do you know if that guy has sold any drawings? What strikes me most is that his sizes are quite large, and his drawings have no apparent detail. Looks like a fantastic deal.

Send me money and I'll send you a finely-printed certificate stating you've been suckered.

    GM,

Believe it or not, he's sold quite a few via reunion activities. Goes to prove that the costumer base for profile art is centered on current and past military squadrons, etc.

The secret is getting exposure within the specific parties.

I've seen photographs of the guy with his work at these events on the net.
I don't blame him, I would if I could too

    Re: Ever closer . . . .

It looks like he has found himself a niche and worked out how to market to it. He would have only had to do one for one squadron and then word of mouth would have gotten around: "Hey, VM-000 got one of these done, why don't we?"

Nah Jester, you wouldn't. You live and breathe truth. You would rather poke your eye out than produce something substandard. Sooner or later people will start to see that difference. I can be a kid with a colouring book, or I can be a true genius. I gave up on kid stuff a long time ago.
