Hi Gamary,
I know that there is NO criticism at these pages...just comments, helps and suggestions
I will play with OD color when I apply proper marking, and will know how long the P-38 was in MTO, on sun in operational bussiness

And another one...
I am not sure about the drop tank...any ideas what is wrong??

were thay carried between the engine naces and the fuselage? if so what litre dropper is that?
looks like it needs to be rotated about 5-7 degrees counter clockwise, so it becomes more in line with the boom.

please, show us (me and Zamex) side view of Lightning with drop tanks...to really see the angle and positionWe could not find anything..
THANKS
i deduced the angle due to the nose on pic jarink posted, if you look you can see lightnings underside but not the drop tanks underside, this leads to a conclusion that the drop tank lies along the ground line, (remember P-38 Sits Nose high) i'd guess at roughly 5-7 degrees hence the rotation suggestion. slightly oblique view:![]()
