    Hi Gamary,

    I know that there is NO criticism at these pages...just comments, helps and suggestions
    I will play with OD color when I apply proper marking, and will know how long the P-38 was in MTO, on sun in operational bussiness

    hi all,

    i ain't gone sleep, i had to make screwheads and rivets for my picture tube, my old ones are still on the dead pc.

    heres the cockpit, still very much WIP.

    And here is fist one with marking....Can anyone tell if it had or not th serial an the tail? Any additional photos than those two know on this plane would be extremely of interest. THANKS

    were thay carried between the engine naces and the fuselage? if so what litre dropper is that?

    I think it's a 165 gallon (US) drop tank.

    My first impression would be that the tank isn't at the correct angle relative to the rest of the plane. It sits too low in the back and might be a little low overall?

    looks like it needs to be rotated about 5-7 degrees counter clockwise, so it becomes more in line with the boom.

    please, show us (me and Zamex) side view of Lightning with drop tanks...to really see the angle and position We could not find anything..

    i deduced the angle due to the nose on pic jarink posted, if you look you can see lightnings underside but not the drop tanks underside, this leads to a conclusion that the drop tank lies along the ground line, (remember P-38 Sits Nose high) i'd guess at roughly 5-7 degrees hence the rotation suggestion. slightly oblique view:
