    Su-47 Berkut

Here's my latest one: the Sukhoi S-32/S-37/Su-47 Berkut.

I'm only showing a part of it for the moment, but I'll show the whole drawing after publication. I'm hoping to have time to do the top view as well (plus the top view of the SR-71).

Notice that for the first time, I've drawn a pilot. (I'm pointing that out because I feel real smug about it. ) This has been one of the hardest aircraft to draw for me, because some of the shapes (especially the air intake) are rather complex, and because I had very little documentation.

Also, I learned that one of the reasons it was painted flat black was precisely so that it would be hard to make out details on photographs... Well, it works.

Very convincing texturing and sheen, Gaetan. The pilot looks great!

Very good so far! ...this model of Sukhoi looks like FireFox, from a '80s movie

    Re: Su-47 Berkut

OK, guys, I'll post a small version for the moment. Once it's published, I'll add a fuller version, along with the port and top view if you're interested. Hope you like it:

The engine intake on this thing looks like a shar-pei dog. Not that it's relevant, but I just needed to bitch about it a bit.
