    GM, super job bud!!

This bird is a magician's optical illusion delight. Take a look at the wing stars and try to convince yourself at first glance that GM has them lined up correctly--I actually had to copy and paste into PS to convince myself!

O.K., GM--Now let's see the top view of the Blackbird.

Very very good mate!! The black matte color is always a bad beast but you catch it perfectly. If I may, just a very small idea: how about adding two light points to show hoe the small intakes are not flat but a bit lifted? see my idea:

    Re: Su-47 Berkut

Glad you guys like it. I was a bit afraid as it was my first top (I prefer topless ) and that induced a few technical challenges. Namely, one has to pay great attention to symmetry and coherence.

@Supah: that's why most profilers prefer old, prop-driven thingies: the weapons are generally stored hidden inside the aircraft and called bullets. Those two characteristics make them mush easier to draw than a HARM or something like that.

@Joe: the SR-71 will be coming soon. First, I have to do the Ar 234 Blitz (does that count as a decent aircraft, Supah? ), and then I'll do the Blackbird. Unless they change their minds yet again...

@Ugo: you've got a good point there. I'll try to rework that area to make it clearer. However, the intakes are partially flush, if I understand correctly:

I believe the intake doors are hinged at the middle and open during taxi and ground run. (Sorry for that poor graphic example... )
