P 51 MUSTANG

There are soooo many canopies for this bird, I have drawn only 2.
The view point is ever so slightly down too, so the wing shape has been altered from the photographs. This outline is subject to change when new evidence is presented.

Glass canopies shapes are different. Are both original or the lower one is a remake?....BTW, this thread is really on the right way. This outline seems to be the definitive P-51D shape.....

Jesters, I used that picture of "Ferocious Frankie" as well to check the outline on my profiles. It's from nearly the perfect perspective and obviously done from a distance.
