If you think it's wrong, throw rocks at him.

    BH's intepretation
    Huh? Wha I do???
Say, I posted this question at the Expertan forum. Do read and look. Still no real absolutes but I think, if the timeline of when the photos were taken is correct, that it was probably German colors. But maybe mostly 1 color overspray, perhaps not too much of the other color showing. I vote for mostly RLM 70 now.

OK Gamary, you may start throwing rocks at me at any time

Looking VERY good BTW. Any ideas on why the USAAF blue looks so light in the photos???

Duh... I'm clearly out of my depth here. Having carefully avoided Luftwaffe stuff for a long time, I didn't even know about late-war camo until two weeks ago... So I should repaint it in RLM 81/82? Somebody please tell me!

ohh looking good, i was hoping for a stoning then "Two big flat ones, five little sharp ones and a bag of gravel" ah well. looks good GM looks about right from the Images available, nice work and keep it up. i'm left wondering BH whether that blue was just a bit glossy, could explain it looking light...

Yep. or it could be over-diluted RLM 784156-7c as far as I'm concerned. I'll go draw a nice, plain, grey JAS-39 Gripen now. Just to keep things simple and let Supah know he isn't alone in the jet world.

Gamary, Luftwaffe stuff is good. It is only there that true creative expression can be used. Nothing is set in stone, and there are so many variations on a single aircraft you could profile untill the cows come home.

Be interesting to see a gripen I haven't seen one done in good quality, might be good seller too due to several countries buying them at the moment.

    hi GM,

don't get drawn into the luft camouflage debate, you will end up hanging yourself.
