OK Otterkins, got your drift. Sorry I asked. The difference is so minimal it makes one wonder why they bothered. From what I have read they were getting so short of good pilots that just fighting the torque and getting one of these into the air was an achievement in itself.
Getting there. If I get the rivet pattern right on this one it's good for the whole series from E-K. Dunno about the A-B-C-D's yet coz I havent even started looking at those yet....but I bet it is!!!

The more I look, the more confused I become...as I'm sure most Germans were by 1944. I gave up trying to figure out what they were doing as I'm pretty sure the average German did. I think by that time all they cared about was surviving the bombs and bullets. There can't be any logical rationale for continuing to produce 20 different versions of what was their mainstay fighter. By then they were just tired out, and really didn't give a crap about what was being cranked out.
