Yeah there appears to be a lot of confusionregarding this photo and the aircraft it contains. Seems no one has ever gotten to the bottom of it. From the look of the thread over on TOCH a lot of people are interested in the identity. Put it this way if Ugo chooses to do a profile of it? It will be the most accurate one yet created with the info discovered so far all the rest are totally wrong. Even the fuselage code possibly? I don't think were gonna find much more info on the matter.

Do it!![]()
I would Ugo, It looks kinda cool. We just need to really have a think about the 2 upper surface colours? Also CQ+HO was a Klemm Kl 35 but there is no reason why this aircraft could not have been mistakenly coded CQ+HO also? Mistakes were very rare but not impossible plus this aircraft is a bit of a weird one so maybe? This is what other characters it could possibly be according to the curved shape in the photo:
CQ+HQ KlemmKL35 D0077
CQ+HS KlemmKL35W.Nr.1465W.Nr.1465 F0088 -1943-03-02
(^^probably why CQ+HO was a Klemm Kl 35^^)
CQ+HG DornierDo17 Z-2W.Nr.4187W.Nr.4187later DN-61 Finland
CQ+HC Focke WulfFw58 Wetterflugstelle Konigsberg or He 111 H-3
I would stick with CQ+HO being a goof up!
As for the colours I haven't got a clue? Come on chaps get your votes in for the upper surface colours
Clint
I'm not 100% on the RAF colours Ugo, I'd hold of on finalising them mate! But give them a try would be interesting to see the contrasts! I'm not sure its 70/71 on the photo? Seems a bit too much contrast between the two colours shown?
Looking forward to seeing it!
Clint
Edit: Ugo the RAF Dark Earth & Dark Green in the Simmers Paintshop swatches look promising! Also they could of used RLM 65 on the lower surfaces as this was an export colour? Or RAF Sky/Duck egg blue?
