* reduce the sky reflection on the spinner, which is too strong IMHO. Or if you choose to keep it that way, you might want to add more reflections on windows and blister so that it is more coherent.
* on VH-NSF, add some red tint to your black shading. Yellow shades in a reddish way. If you use pure black shades on yellow the result looks a bit odd usually (greenish). (I have the impression you've added some red but maybe not enough?)
On this, I quickly shaded the yellow bar. On the right side the image, I added some red to the shading layer and the result is more convincing:
Just my 2 c. Aside from this, your King Airs look great, Graeme.
Here are a couple more Super King Airs. (What would the next gen be called: Ultra-Super King Air?, Super Super King Air? Super Dooper King Air?) This is the one airframe in standard scheme and a special commemorative scheme celebrating 70 years of naval aviation. I saw a pic in a recent Airfix mag and just had to do it!
Gamary, I don't know if I responded to your comments: shading yellow with red is working brilliantly, thanks, the spinner is polished chrome, so it really does reflect like that! Thanks for your comments.
Very nice work, Grubby. I'm glad the yellow shading tip was helpful. I forget where I picked it up from as it was a long time ago, but it is important IMHO.
One little bit of nit-picking if I may: the reflections in the windows are a bit weird. it looks as if the aircraft is inside a hangar with a line of neon lights reflecting on the windows. Unless you elect to keep it that way (your profile, your choice ), that would be easy to modify I think. Aside from that, it's a first-class job!
