    Re: P-40 Warhawk

Wanted to do something else than what I've been doing these last few days so I've allowed myself a break to draw Caldwell's Kittyhawk IIB.

Name: UK, Kittyhawk IIB, F-L Clive Caldwell, 250 Squadron, late 1941.jpg

Sorry about the "sample" but I'm no longer posting hi-res images without some mark...

I've been playing with the various modes (linear burn, dodge, or whatever). I get some interesting effects but I haven't really made my mind up yet.

Does anybody know of a picture of this aircraft? I've based the profile off the cover and illustrations of Osprey's P-40 Aces book. I've looked at other No 250 Squadron photographs to get a better of idea of what it looked like but I'd love to find a picture to confirm at least some of it...

i“m very impressed ! very nice work mate. The textures are so very good. I can“t tell if the shape is right, but i suspect it is !

By the way: How do you post high-res images in here ?

Sorry to say it GM, but the tail seems not OK for me...the solid part looks thinner than the movable part. I would suggest to add some highlight on the edge of the solid part...but I may be wrong

    Re: P-40 Warhawk

    Thanks, AP.

@Peter: no, you're perfectly right. Sloppy work on my part. I've either completely forgotten, or the layer in question was inadvertently turned off. Thanks for pointing it out.
