Yes, if you have Snap (in the same menu as Guides) on, then it helps you fo get the proper selection. Then copy and paste into a new started image.

Looks like you have some value in the Feather box. (on top of the screen when you have the selection tool)
Make sure it is 0 px.
Hi Serval ( dutch I presume?)
Indeed I left 6 px standing there but now it,s perfect.
Two other questions;
1. How do I make this much smaller, in reality 5 or 6 mm?
2. My future background is a rust-free plate but the picture of it isn,t been made yet.
As background I did choose some grey-tone like I thought it will be.
Will this match with the real picture or does it have to match exact with the real background?
Thanks for the patience and great help till now and after this I start learning how Layers do work as a beginning for skinning .(Ofcourse il2-Forgotten battles).
I,m waiting for The Fokker DXXI!

sorry,
I tried to copy the new image but now the background is black again?? instead of the checkerboard grey/white.
Dutch indeed. Here are more Dutchies: http://www.1java.org and http://www.1java.nl
6 mm is depening on monitor resolution. But I guess you need around 25 px image size.
When you copied the led into the new image choose the menu Image - Resize
There make sure Constrain proportions is on and enter 25 px for the size.
You can enter the mm or cm also but that is only for printed matter. For screen px is the unit to go by.
The background is shown black on the forum, but when I click on it I get the large version with transparent background. This is because the forum makes a smaller example image and probably saves it as a JPG which does not suooper transparency. The white torn edge tells me you used white or a light colour for the matte.
The checker is in photoshop (and PSP etc) only to show you that it is transparent
Serval,
Is it possible to answer my second question?
And how did you made the thumbnails in your posts?
Thanks again for the great help and happy hollidays.
