Hey Mangas, your recent profile work looks tremendous for a newcomer!
I was a collector of your il-2 skins and cockpit repaints, BTW...

Thanks, man. Your pilots models/textures for Il-2 are 1 of the best!

O.K. As I promised myself, a tribute to gamary (and a SPS community in general) -- is finished. The final product looks like this:

P.S.: LOL what's correct? at the Philippines or in the Philippines? I'm a non achiever

P.S.: not sure if I'm allowed to cut/paste parts of photoes for portraits on prints, so I made those guy roughly with a mouse...

Unless the Philippines is an actual location within a nation/region then it is going to be 'in' you wouldn't say based 'at England' but you would say based 'at Northolt in England'

However to avoid tautology I'd go with 'based in the Philippines during late 1944' instead of what you've gone with but that is largely personal preference.

    Nice weathering btw
    Harriers...uppy downy things.

Really nice job. Good to see a lessor known type profiled for a change.

One thing you might want to consider changing with the layout is the flag looks a lot bigger (certainly wider) than the image on the right,
I'd change one or the other and make them equal size.
Me I'd change the flag size as its currently dominating the image drawing the eye down to the right and away from the point of the layout, the profile.

    You're right, James.

Btw, here comes another of the pack. Here's a guy from 2nd Chutai, 4th Sentai:

This color scheme is the more "ordinary" for this type of a/c...

Thanks, Ugo, for all the help!
Unfortunately, making a good composition is still a mystery to me...

Re: "Dragon Slayer" -- a tribute to gamary

This Nick is of 5th Sentai and is in an overall brown primer which was occasionally used as a camouflage colour... Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 'glyths on the rudder supposed to be morale booster slogan?

P.S.: strangely, but here in my PS opened this profile doesn't seem so dark/black as it is on the picture here in forum... Weird...
