Well, I'm not that smart so I'll leave it as it is or continue to search for very thorough drawings...

P.S.: By the way, since it's my 1st ever "big guy", I wonder if this canvas size is ok?

    P.S.: 2: nice work, mclaring!

Alternatively just scale untill it looks right
    Less accurate.

@Mclaring: you probably could simply rework the existing template. More lighting to bring the shape out IMHO.

    don't hold your breath,
there are not any drawing (correct ones) showing the rivet detail, the ones i posted are spot on, just check photos for how many lines per joint, simple

    Re: Havocs...

1st of all, I never knew this man had so-o-o many modifications & sub-variants!
Now I think I need some help/advice with the turret...
If anybody (GFR, hello! ) ever made any USAAF or RAF big guys with turrets, can you show a close-up image of it, pls?

Btw, any suggestions how to make drop shadow on wheels from opened bay doors?

It's an aircraft, apart from the odd one off prototype they will all have plenty of subtypes

    Might help with the shading.

Just this (stalled) one from the dark distant past.

I'll dig up the files later and post the individual turrets up for you to have a look at FWIW.

Im working on a A-20C as well, just haven't quite got as far as you as yet, so haven't tackled the rivet problem as yet, though I'm in the fortunate position of having a fully restored version not too far away for detail shots when I get around to it.

When you will, will you please write down all the technical inscriptions too (small stencils)? 'cause on this walkaround they're impossible to read...

    Re: Havocs...

Here a few images that I took a while ago.

This is the aircraft that I am slowly working on.

Not a lot of stencils to be seen on this particular restoration, and it was pretty exacting, don't know about how many other A-20's carried tho.

    I. Fire extinguisher inside.
    2. No step
    3. remove for ground heating access/OIl-Y drain valve.
    4. No stencil, just a nice detail shot that might help with your rivet research.
