This is my first armour profile, wanted to boost up my photoshop skilz, it's a result of that. Tried with planes some time ago, but looks like ground stuff suits me
This one is far from finished, but the main things are present, needs some work near the muffler. Thinking about different camos, adding stowage, damaging some parts and different weathering (this one I would call 'summer dry', it's WIP too, needs more dry mud I think).
Since I have little experience with profiling, I thought I would look for some feedback.
BTW if any of you know a web places full of armour profiles I would be grateful for links (yes, I've seen 'links' section).

FAST AND BULBOUS!
Wonderful job, Grunio! I especially like the understated and super-realistic grunge. Personally, I'd double all your shadows to give extra depth.
Looking good!
Grubby.
Thanks everyone, but I seriously think it is not that good yet, I see many ways in which it could be improved.
I have little time to work on it atm, but I'm going to post my progress here, now it's wip.
Hmmm, I don't think that would look good, but will try that anyway to see. It will be pain in the a** though, cos' having no experience in profiling, I ended up with countless shadow layers scattered all around the psd. Adjusting shadows 'globally' may take some time (unless we're talking about 'post processing' the image), but I will try it.Personally, I'd double all your shadows to give extra depth.
That's the way to do it! Always look for those little things that will make it all the more better!I see many ways in which it could be improved![]()
FAST AND BULBOUS!
What a great way to introduce yourself, with a fully formed profile.
Look forward to seeing whats next.
Oh... And, Its about time somebody posted in this section again, where have all the tread heads gone?
I gave up on mine, it was getting TOO complicated!!! I do hope to finish it some day...where have all the tread heads gone?![]()
FAST AND BULBOUS!
You should!
I've seen it and I can say it would probably rock - once completed.
About psd. getting huge, well, looks like it's unavoidable in serious vehicle profiling. With aircraft you can normally put everything in one psd. and still get good performance.
I have quite good pc myself, with 8g ram and quad core, but still had to split this one of mine in two, one file for wheels, tracks and some other complicated details like mg, other file for the rest.
