I think what you guys have suggested looks much better, still working on them.

I realize these are not very well done, there are many things that can be improved. I cranked out a lot of images. I have learned a lot during the time working on them from the forum critiques that has been extremely helpful. I think other viewers have also learned a few tricks. There is a lot of talent on the board, and it comes out during the critiques. It was a good exercise for me having been interested in this aircraft for 20 years and collecting images and paint schemes over that period. I need to learn more in illustrator, I did my original drawings in photoshop.

I wouldn't say that at all. Just keep striving for more.

You might want to have a go at some glass, the windows as it stands look a little painted on. Once you do decide to tackle glass you will have as many varying opinions on how to do it, and what looks good as you did with your NMF. Its one of the many rabbit holes.

    Hi wildr,

I think your profiles look really fine. I have no idea how many profiles you have done before, but I needed really a long time to be were I'm at the moment. So you shouldn't write that these are not very well done.

Regarding the windows GFR noticed. Are all windows on the other side of the fuselage on the same place as on the side you show your profiles? If not the windows should be dark. Just were you can see through (like the cockpit) the windows should be white.

    Cheers,

    Re: B-18 Big Ugly

I have done some work over the weekend, not sure I'm liking where these are right now. I have two different color schemes, one a standard sky blue reflection
the other more of a sunset reflection tone. Plexi sometimes does turn yellowish out in the elements.

I'm not too sure about the lowest dark wavy reflection effect but the middle one looks very effective. What does it look like without the dark bottom one and just keeping the middle?

I put a mountain reflection in the previous profile, 7th was in Spokane Washington, trying to be too cute.
