Your welcome, so it works then?

As for the panel: There's lots of valid points being thrown around so until anyone can actually get there hands on a panel and measure it...... I'm not 100% convinced it's angled on the original yet and stand by my first comment.

Hmmm... it still looks a tad fishy to me!
Maybe horizontal isn't quite horizontal but more like following the airflow? The nose is tapering after all.
I have a gut feeling the top double red lines are the last ones that are truly horizontal (like the cockpit opening) and then some sort of taper comes into the equation.

Don't forget that this is showing perspective and the curvature of the fuselage which adds double distortion to confuse you. Can't you press that magic button and make one of those 3d things for us really quickly?
    Harriers...uppy downy things.

Apparently the new Adobe Photoshop CC has got a 'sort it out' filter just this type of issue.

Tbh, I could do some 3D comping but the deviation from horizontal - if any - is so subtle it will just add to the confusion

Anyone have extensive photos of the Benina (Benghazi) LG1 wrecks? Many had their wings removed so it should theoretically be possible to get a good sideview of the nose from a distance.
    This, but better quality: http://www.ww2incolor.com/d/703426-2/JU88-BENINA
(I think I can see a line and I don't think it's parallel to the fuselage but going slightly up... but too fuzzy to be sure)

Is this a replica or the real deal?

That looks pretty square again... but this panel also appears in completely the wrong place! LOL!

PS. This is officially the longest internet discussion about a single aircraft panel ever

The Moscow nose section is interesting here is a close up..... no disrespect to restorers but don't take what a 'restorers' calls work as original. Looking at this I would none of it is original apart from some interior fittings...
