... But what is interesting that upper panel line is horizontal, down panel line is angled and going high in to wing root...
    What do You think?

Maciek, I have a low-res copy of a Ju 88 H fuselage modification engineering plan and it actually shows the top of the panel sloping down (towards the wing root) and the bottom straight...!

Clint, hmm humble pie, nice and healthy without any flavour enhancers!

Look at mail, this photo I have is copyrighted so I've sent it through post.
Shows clearly that upper line panel is rather horizontal. I know that Ju 88 H drawing.

    Confusion and Luftwaffe, never!

There is another possibility.... Different factories treating this panel slightly different? This happened with the He177. Same sub-variant but completely different side windows dependant on what factory it was built at.

    Re: Ju 88 A family

Am I right in suggesting that the stringers to which the skin is riveted would all run horizontal (Parallel to the line of flight) and at a 90 degree angle to the frames? That seems to me to be the strongest method of creating the internal structure? What I find interesting is the line of rivets just above the panel. These surely would be fastened along the length of one of these stringers? The top edge of the panel runs parallel with this line of rivets. That would mean that the stringer would need to be angled also?

Clint I think you are correct: parallel and at right angles along the stringer. Any 'angling' is because of the photo perspectives.

(P.S. thanks for the tip in another post on the free CS2 Illustrator...:-) )
