Thanks to Jim "JFM" for giving me some "schooling" on this one

The OAW style fairings I see...
Looks kind of weird with the replacement prop.
Were the ID placards removed prior to repaint?

You are missing the datum line on the first one is it deliberate?

Glad to see you're alive Jester, all we need is for John to recover and it#ll all be normal again.

    Happy new year all.

Yo Jester! I love you too

Yep, I looked through a few French props and found the right one pretty quick that matched the photos of the post capture plane. It's a Levasseur from a SPAD or Nieuport. Jim confirmed this. I even have a little Levasseur decal on it

Were the ID placards removed prior to repaint?
They're there under that silver paint below the cockpit. I've fixed that while working on the pre capture version of 910/16 last night. I hadn't noticed that they had dissipated.

You are missing the datum line on the first one is it deliberate?
Yes, I forgot that. I was looking at that last night. Plus the Albatros logo needs to be on there too. I've got to get the LVG version worked out next.

Lots of "Waldo" details just like GFS says.

    The work is perfect.
I wonder, is it a texture or did you draw all those wooden structure fibers yourself?

Thanks Mangas The wood textures are modified photos of birch plywood that I took years ago thinking it might be useful. And it was

A lot of people have done profiles of this plane but I don't think anyone has gotten it right yet. I'm not saying mine is right, but it's closer
This is the same as the silver D.II in French markings I posted earlier.

I love it. Especially that human-hand-brush effect!

And a little of that human touch...
