Stunning as always. Love the rough hand painted markings on the final one.

HA! I already found stuff wrong The side paneling is different than what I had...at least on the D.I and my marking on the Friedrich Karl plane were WAY off. I had been using a really nice clear photo of the right side. I had a little photo of the left side but had somehow not bothered to study it at all. The two sides are pretty damn different!

Another, this is the same one flown by Buttner, 391/16- http://www.simmerspaintshop.com/foru...di_buttner.jpg but after capture. Two different versions. No ideas on the color, PC10 for the first repaint is a pretty safe guess.


And the stripes??? My guess is PC12. The blue photographs lighter and the red photographs darker than stripes in photos of this one. It will just have to be a mystery!

I hope you forgive this blaspheme, but when I look at the vertical tail, the highlight as shown is giving me an impression that the tail is thicker than it is in reality.
