Ok Grubby, I knew it was the wrong thing to do...but I did it anyway
Do keep in mind this is the actual intended printed size-

I don't think that copy/paste stuff will show even in the best reproduction.
BUT, since I knew it was wrong and now I feel bad about trying to get away with it, a partial rework -

    Better?

Motorcycles? I LOVE THEM...but I don't think I'd ever do a fully rendered one unless it was a paying job with cash up front

What, you think I don't step and repeat every chance I get? That's what computers are for!

This is coming up brilliantly, BH, most inspiring. Those springs! Very very convincing.

I am quietly going out of my tree here, I haven't drawn anything for a couple of weeks, too much other stuff happening. But I shall return shortly with another chopper project!

Well Grubby, I guess it's a matter of personal conscience. If something bothers you, no matter how irrational, you've got to do something about it.
I was going to post a picture of this on the Aerodrome forum but I decided I should check my reference first. Those guys take things too seriously over there. Now, after looking at all the photos and drawings, I see I've got more than a few details REALLY wrong. It bothers me so I'm doomed and have to fix them :P I'm also considering doing the whole damn engine too
And BTW, I'm out of my tree already but that's another story

Don't you hate that! That agonising backtracking as you work work out just how much you are going to have to redraw because one of your references turned out to be an A, not a D! And you HAVE to do it.

I noticed, after the fact, that the plug wires are supposed to by over the wire loom, not behind it I think I'm going to finish off the water pump at the from of the valve train and leave it. None of the wrong stuff will show unless I'm doing a full engine. And at least I've got the corrected valve gear in. After all this work I'm going to give up on the full engine idea for now. If I want the whole thing I better start over and do it MUCH LARGER! This will do for the 4.6 odd inches it will be printed at and for how little will show. But it was FUN!
