the blurries are due to something called Mip-Maps, a guide to them can be found in the FS tutorials, but removing them also can slow the frames also. as for the transparent windows i think they are part of the model and as such can't be removed.

						Hey guys,
I'm wondering if anyone would be able to help me on little problem that is driving me crazy:
I'm currently doing a repaint of the PSS 777 Professional but whenever I save the files once I'm done with them as a BMP and process them through DXTBmp as DXT1 or Extended BMP the textures still sometimes come out blurry at times on FS9
Also, does anyone know how to get rid of the awful see-through windows on PSS models? They really drag down framerates and look rather crap lol...
Nice aircraft apart from that!Any help would be most appreciated,
Thanks,
Sam.

On the windows, are they textured or a partially transparent polygon? If they are textured then you might try giving a full alpha channel to make them completely transparent. Otherwise you can test easily by removing the texture from the folder and see what the windows look like. Then you can easily put it back after testing.
