And some more. I've tried a new glass technique (thanks to some of what the "glass masters" around here have shown) - whaddya think?

I'll be adding a fin fillet for the Mustang III template, but this particular plane didn't have one.

that looks very good! I would make the glass effect less noticeable though (just a tiny bit) but it's probably a matter of personal preference.
Could you tell us quickly how you achieve this glass effect?

Surely you jest? I'm continuing to re-work both my B/C and D model profiles, as I type.

Now, I dunno if you would consider me one of the "glass masters" around here, but you may want to reduce the opacity (as bzhyoyo suggested) a little and maybe add a little bit of blue highlight for effect. Its a great looking Malcolm Hood either way.

Good job ! I really really like the glass effect...I'm looking for a way to improve my own glass effect and yours is really an inspiration !Good job.
I'm no WW II aircraft buff, but to me, the overall inpression is second to none !

My (very short) tutorial about how I did the glass.

GFR and bzhyoyo: I think you're right. I'll dial it down a notch or two. I'm not sure about adding some more blue; several color pictures of restored birds with these canopies seem very clear without much tint to them. Not sure if the original canopies were that way, though.
