Merci, Michael. Comme tu l'as fait remarquer, B-25 mods are numerous. Right now I'm working on the Doolittle raiders, which were field-modified also (ventral turret removed, some guns removed, fake tail guns, etc...). Unfortunately I haven't found much reference but I should be OK anyway.
I'm truly impressed with the number of B-25 preserved today. Wikipedia has a special page on that topic.
last update on the He162 nose gear...
Hey Santy, sorry I didn't chime in earlier, now it's probably too late.
Your detail looks really excellent, but, and this is the bad part, the tire doesn't look quite right yet. The detail on the real tire is really not so sharp or so deep.
It's not easy finding good photos though. I found this Bf 110 tail wheel for Otter a wheel back, it might not be the same tire...but then again, it just might. I think the sizes are similar and certainly the tread pattern is of the same kind-
Other tires with similar tread pattern-
And not that this helps, but there was also a smooth pattern tire used-
I hope that helps, or at least doesn't hurt.
Keep up the great work![]()
FAST AND BULBOUS!
wow... great photos BLOWHARD!!!
thank you so much. I want to use that photo for make some new update on the tire...
I think...to complete the fusolage (new information received) it'll take me a few day.

BINGO! Nailed the nose gear Santo. Good job. Too bad about the tire. I didn't draw in that detail because on the examples I've got the tires just look bald. Trust BH to come up with the info. The 262 nose wheel he shows was probably used on the Spatz as well.
I just update a little bit the tire, I use one temporary font for the logo and other text...
Anyone can help me to find the font for making the Continental's logo?
thank you BLOWHARD for the nice web link

Trust you BH! Astonishing job of restoration and a wealth of details. How do you find these places? Unfortunately it's in French, and being an Anglo...no speeka da language.
