This a Tornado mate?
What's going on with the lower gun bay door here? Is it a piano hinge? Is it Grover or the Cookie Monster? Is it a caledonia mahogany's elbow rutabaga? I can't tell. All the phtos I have either show the gun bay open or it's so deep in shadow there's no detail. Yes yes! Before you tell me to use the shadow/highlight feature, I tried. It doesn't help.

this is a F104 Starfighter,
and they are cooling vents.

Otterkins, Is this what you are looking for? The whole walkaround is at:
Lockheed F-104 Walkaround Photos
if it helps. It's a 104G from outside the Greek War Museum.
I also have big-bastard originals, around 4mb each, if there something specific you need I will sendem to you.
Grubby.
AHA! That's what I needed Grubby! Perfect! Send the whole lot. There is no such thing as too much info. Is it a piano hinge? I need to examine this pic for a bit. Crap! I think I made my vents too big. Worse yet, I gotta draw all those hinges. I want my mommy!

Send the lot!!? 87 pics? 316mb? Maybe check out the pics on the walkaround and I will send you ones that answer specific questions via pm. How does that sound?
Grubby.
Hey! I'm on high speed. 316 MB is peanuts. I routinely share files a gig or more. You got a way to send it?
I could probably FTP it? I'm not very good with that sort of technology. I'll look into that.
Try yousendit.com
send 100MB zipfiles to specific email address via notification of place, where to download...nice thing to use
just a hint![]()
Generally I do file transfers in either MSN Live! or Yahoo Instant Messenger. Those who cannot use these programs (or refuse to) have to suffer with using either YouSendIt or Drop.io
That being said, your walkaround is the most astonishingly thorough I have ever seen with very outstanding photography. In fact I lost myself for quite a while touring your truly remarkable and VERY helpful site! Tried signing up for "The Grubby Truth" but it won"t let me. You are quite right. I only need about half of what's there since I'm only doing a port side view. I'll go through the photos carefully and let you know which ones I feel are the most important to me for what I'm doing. While I'm at this, I should let you know that step 4: Detailing is spread all over creation. You have to scroll sideways for quite a distance to get all the info. That's a big bad no-no in the world of web design.![]()
