Kinda 'finished' this one a while ago, although there are a number of things that need to be finished for it to be really considered complete like the drop tanks plumbing.

There are a number of things that I am unsure about like the drop tank attachment points being correct to this type, or whether it even had the wing bomb shackles at all, the images at hand are inconclusive on both matters.

TFC's Thunderbolt restoration was an obvious help when it came to the details but not having access to the same level of research as they had I chose to depict "Snafu" as I found her in historical images. Hence no full invasion stripes and a number of other markings that they have on there "Snafu".

No evidence...no reproduction.

To be perfectly honest, I have to credit you for this John, it was your banging on about the subject that made me re-assess my recalcitrant ways.

You'll see in most of the work that I do from now on, much bolder colours with less fading.*
