Very promising. You've done a good job at sticking the wing right into the viewer's eye IMO.

This looks really sweet GFR. Can't wait to see it finished. I'm wondering about the bulge on the back of the gun cowl though. Looks a bit too pronounced to me. The wing really pokes your eye out. Great perspective! Hurry hurry and get it done!!!!!

Thanks for the compliments re the wing, as I have mentioned many times before, its one area of profiling that I feel I really struggle to get right, slowly beginning to shape my technique now tho.
As for the bulge behind the gun cowl, check out the period Dora photo that JM Smith kindly posted earlier in this thread. As well as being a great image, its also the good indicator of the actual size of the bulge.
I'll post an update later...
