    Re: Jaguar - French ones

Thanks for the input, Joe. Actually, I'd already corrected that but it wasn't visible because of the crop I'd made:

This should reflect the actual shape better.

    Here's the full plane:

    Re: Jaguar - French ones

Now, for my 1000th post on SPS, here is the Jaguar, 99.999% finished (do I keep saying that?):

Name: AAA Jaguar A port model copie.jpg
Views: 265
Size: 32.1 KB

I only need to add a few weathering touches here and there, and I think I can call the template complete. Once that is done, I can start the add-ons: hardpoints, weapons, tanks, etc.

Do I get a present for my 1K post? Pleeeeeeeeeeaase???????????

    Re: Jaguar - French ones

    Thanks, Stephane!

Here is my first true finished Jaguar:
    Name: France, Jaguar A 74, 11-YJ, EC 4~11 Jura.jpg

It is one of the rare pictures I could find with a clean Jaguar: no pylons/weapons and a relatively clean paint scheme. Seems the cat liked to get dirty. This one came from EC 4/11 "Jura".

I'm hoping this is finished before I can start drawing more (this time with weapons and stuff hanging under it) but I suspect John or somebody will point out a big mistake which I'll have to correct.

BTW, John: no, I did not forget to draw a big laser designator at the tip of the nosecone. This is a French Jaguar (sorry: not naked, it's got fur) so it doesn't have one of those Brit high-tech thingies. We use eye designation. A fully-trained French fighter pilot needs only to stare hard enough at the target and the bomb will hit it.
