    Hi Simon,

really great profiles on your poster.

    What irritates me
why you draw the shadow of the horizontal tail, the side of the fuselage,
more intense than the primary shadow under the fuselage, the wing or the elevator.

I see what Heli means, as the bottom of the fuselage is in shadow then the shadow cast by the tail should be the same intensity and at the bottom they will merge into each other. Assuming there is only one light source you should only get a single shadow at the bottom not a double one.

Love the captured US profile btw.

I thought shadows were different from areas that are simply not getting as much light as areas in direct light?

I probably could have worded the above statement better.

Re: Bf 109 G-10 profile project

Thank you folks for the input! These profiles were finished mid last year and in the meantime I haven't done new 109 profiles. Have to look at my current projects regarding the mentioned shadows.

    Very nice work, mate!
Any chance to see the "wheels-down" version?

Re: Bf 109 G-10 profile project

Mangas, thank you! The 109 was a project I never wanted to do! I have started it for a book project I was asked to do some profiles. At the moment I'm really busy with some other book projects, so I have no idea if I ever will "finish" the 109.

    Thank you BH!
