Don't encorage him! He'll just add more details that'll leave your mind in a total state of shock!!! Last time i looked he had bugs on the windscreen. Not scary you say? It is when you can identify the bug by genus and s*e*x. Be afraid....VERY afraid! BH is an evil genius.

Evil genius? More like a moron genius![]()
More to look at. I've got the major changes in, new antenna mast, tail leading edge, aileron, exhaust...
(cannon delete for now)
There are still a few changes to put in, mostly under the wing. I'm not sure if I like the aileron shading, I'll have to play with it.
I also need a bunch of rivets on the lower cowling but since I plane on making a model 63 out of this one and the 63 has different rivets under it's cowling, I'm going to hold off until I've settled all the other details.
This plane is painted like a Nakajima built plane. But anyone on the ball will see right off it's got a Mitsubishi wind screen! HA! (no bugs on the wind screen, really!)
I've got to ship this one off to my fact checker before I go further. Once I have the basic stuff right I'll make a separate Mitsubishi and Nakajima versions.
FAST AND BULBOUS!
hi BH,
not being funny, but i think your highlight is to strong, but thats just my opinion![]()

You might be right, it's not funny!![]()

Just kidding though...
You might be right. It looks REALLY light and washed out on my work computer.
It is supposed to be fairly glossy but I'll look into it. I've got a lot of complicated stuff going on with the layers and I might have forgotten what I was doing since I left off.
I'll look over it at home.
But, a sample of gloss-

FAST AND BULBOUS!
yup, washed out is a good description,
need to bring the colour back but retain your shine.
JMSmith (back by popular demand)
It does look a lot better on my home screen. I'm not sure what to do but but I'll study it some more.
FAST AND BULBOUS!
After looking all the layers over again I found one highlight layer been set to normal when it should have been overlay. It doesn't do too much with the "too light" thing but it does add a bit more color to the highlight.
What say you now JM? Still too light?
(Nakajima this time)
I am a little concerned that they show up a lot lighter at work. Since my printer is my end result now I'm going to leave them as is but I'll keep the whole light/washed out thing in mind for the future.
FAST AND BULBOUS!
I preferred the first version. It did look a bit washed out. However, the difference is really minor IMHO.
I suspect John is upset because he couldn't find something.![]()
Hint for John: that bug squashed on the windscreen is historical nonsense. This species never encountered the Zero in combat so it shouldn't be there.![]()
