ARG, I missed that Simon! I went to great lengths to show the letters hand painted with brush strokes but I didn't notice the uneven roundel!
I'll get that fixed up soon, thanks![]()

The model 52a, gear down this time.
The gun access panels are all new on this one. It went from drum to belt fed 20mm cannon. It's got a cover over the cannon opening too.
This one has an interesting story to it. A victory was scored against an F6F in the Marianas Turkey Shoot" and the pilot lived to die another day, literally. The most interesting part is the plane was pulled, largely intact , out of a swamp in Guam in the early 1960s

Next is the 52b. It gets a substantially larger spinner which doesn't seem to have ever been done on any profile or drawing I've seen. The Aero Details drawings do show it, but it's not the correct shape.
I'm working my way up to the A6M7 model 63![]()
FAST AND BULBOUS!
Looks great as always. How many have you drawn so far?
PS: will you draw a French one? (I know the French used a few Oscars in Indochina but I'm not sure they used Zeroes as well.)
Too manyLooks great as always. How many have you drawn so far?But I want to be the first on my block to collect them all
It looks like I've got 19 so far...but there will be many more!
French? I haven't seen one, Brit, Aussie, US and Chinese...I'll look for a French one.

FAST AND BULBOUS!
Well, I'm probably wrong then. I'm certain that some Japanese fighters were used by the French postwar, but I can't say that the Zero was one of these for sure.French? I haven't seen one, Brit, Aussie, US and Chinese...I'll look for a French one.
no zero,
but i could be wrong, oscars yes, zeros no

Is that another one of those euphemisms?
