That really isn't beer or cake

The highlight/reflection edges look a bit rippled with the surface of the airframe but the edges are quite clear and defined where as yours are a bit softened, try putting a sharp edge on the highlights and I think it'll be spot on.

I think this is close enough as far as the gloss effect is concerned, I am now just correcting the aircrafts equipment.

Like this scheme a lot, gloss looks fine to me.

I do have a couple of observations tho...

Looking at the ref image, the lower portion is white, yours loos to be all gray. Maybe add some white along the centre of the fuse, below the blue demarcation line. Whites tough to get right.

Looking at he the wing tank, I cant help but fell that the shadow the surrounds it, is located outside a mask. Looks blurry, not sharp.

I think that some of the highlights and shadows on the nose are stopping the nose from have the nice smooth look that it needs.

Probably don't wont to here this so far into such an epic thread, just putting it out there.
