How about fading a bit the border of the black stripes?

I've faded them already, on this machine they were quite sharp. Some of the other ones had them more feathered. I'll mess with it tomorrow!

Working to enhance the gloss effect on this plane Only part I still need to figure out how to make it look glossier now is the tail which will require some thinking. I did the ECM tail hump and the tiptank too

how about sharp border reflections? Those would look like more glossy. Same as you did in the Solo Display F-16, the red one
