    Re: F-104G Starfighter

Have to agree. Somhow the white (especially the tail) has no borders and merge with background.....maybe a little shadow in the border would help

    Re: F-104G Starfighter

Another prominent NATO 104 variant, Norwegian Airforce CF-104.

This particular aircraft was the last of the Canadair built Starfighters, it served in Europe with the Canadian airforce from 1963 until 1971 when it was withdrawn from service and eventually sold to the Norwegian airforce where it returned to operational service in 1974. It was lost on the 18th of January 1983 when it crashed in the sea 15 km from Bodo after the pilot lost control at low altitude, the pilot managed to eject safely but the plane was lost.

I messed around with some designs for a catalogue / book and this is the best I could come up with

Positioning of the text at the top is too low and not sure about the font choice. Like the layout of the a/c on the front though

I can see where you are coming from Inky, the letters should be positioned more in the center of the upper grey portion.

    How about this?

Gaetan: Perhaps it is something we can colaborate on It would be cool to develop something like this into a series of books, perhaps through AviationGraphic. Though I am probably getting ahead of myself

still needs shifting up a shade, and what about a different font or USAF font for example for the actual F-104 to really bring it out.

Would be cool to see some series of a/c
