Maybe not glossy but at least a bit less highlight as it's masking the blue color a bit.

Your white seems too white to me, and fades into the background. I can clearly see all of the greytones on the colour bar at the bottom of SPS pages and regularly calibrate. Is it me, you, the browser? Anyway, I just thought I'd mention it.
