bloody hell GM,

these two would be nice![]()
Just so you guys know: this is all John's fault.
Factory-fresh and nearly as naked as they get (except for the stenciling).
Fancy choosing which unit this one should go to, John?![]()

I still can't help noticing it doesn't have a propeller on it though
Some good color schemes here-
Mirage III colour scheme question. - ARC Air Discussion Forums
FAST AND BULBOUS!
Nice, you really look to have nailed the form of the wing.
Only because I got lazy. More often than not, we don't draw the props. Just consider it's the case here.I still can't help noticing it doesn't have a propeller on it though
@John: Sorry about the blood pressure.![]()
Good choice of markings on the second one. The IIIB will have to wait as it means more work and research. First, I want to do a few IIICs.Interestingly, the person who ordered the MIIIC from me flew with EC 2/2 Cote d'Or as an instructor on MIII and M2000 for several years. Chances are he flew that specific aircraft.
As for the IIIC in the picture, it's a very good choice because "Les Cigognes" were the first unit to receive the Mirage III so starting with them makes sense. I'll start working on that one.
EDIT: Ooops.Just realized that picture is not of an EC 1/2 bird but rather EC 1/5 Vendée. Wrong cigogne shape.
I'll draw it anyway.

Finally found time to finish it:
Mirage IIIC from EC 1/5 Vendée, Orange AB, 1966, flown by Capt. John M. Smith, a British truck driver on an exchange program.
Ironically, I created the Mirage III template for one of my clients, who flew this very same Mirage (No 10) a few years later, when he was serving with EC 2/10 Seine in Creil.
Hope you like it. More to come.![]()
And another one:
I like that colour shceme (used only on EC 3/10 "Vexin" aircraft stationed in Djibouti). These were the only Mirage III to carry Magic I missiles.
Great work!
Beautiful work GM!!![]()
