FAST AND BULBOUS!
I appreciate your level of details Gaetan, keep up the good work.
Thanks, guys!
@John: whatever one thinks of the Israeli, we frogs must thank them for having made the Mirage III a combat legend.
Currently working on converting the template to the IIIB model.
There still is work to be done, notably adding the tubing and pitot tube beneath the forward section of the fuselage.
After the IIIB is completed, I'll be doing the IIIBE and IIIDS (Swiss twin-seater). Of course, these have different nose and fin shapes, as well as a different tubing layout...![]()
ya can't beat naked french birds![]()
JMSmith (back by popular demand)
I realized I hadn't posted much in the way of new profiles in some time. Not that I'm not doing profiles these days. I'm doing so many I don't have time to post them.
Here's a couple Mirage IIIBE I'm working on.
This is another one for the guy who likes naked French birds. (I forget his actual name. He's usually grumbling something and leaning on a Bacardi bottle.)![]()
Both were flown by ECT 2/2 "Côte d'Or" in the early 1980s.
Epic work!
The only thing I would look closer is the yellow numbers on the underwing fuel tank (or whatever it is)... How about 'overlay' them? So far they look nice but... too plain... er-m... not 100% natural...![]()

Niiiiice, love the nmf finish, what's the unit and any chance of detail of the tail, I've got to do a 'what if' Griffon II in camo and am not totally clued up on French units.![]()
