What the hell would I be getting into, I have not had CS3 crash on me once yet?

PS7 used to bail and pork a template about once every 2 to 3 months though.

Nice jump from PS7 to CS3 I have to say.

I did get the demo CS5, tested it against CS3 for load and save times, (much the same, but CS3 was slightly faster), but I did notice that they have increased the group levels considerably in CS5, something I get into trouble with in CS3 quite often.

I use a good sized 500gig drive for the ram overspill (scratch disk) though, you think that helps?

My CS5 hasn't crashed yet. I use CS3 at work, 45 hours a week and no crashes in 3 years. I think it's do to something buggy on your computer, or low memory or speed or something.

    FAST AND BULBOUS!

    Re: P-38 Lightning

Photy CS5 won't run on a mac if something like indesign or dreamweaver is already open, but this is largely due to it being a network issue and conflict with the o/s at Uni, I just tell the students to turn it off and on again as that seems to work.
I thought Macs were perfect, never crashed, had no viruses and chilled the beer? This is a big disappointment for me.

I thougth the spinners were too short so I checked 'em out and it turned out they needed 10% more length. Now that they are the correct size, I still find them too short. Must be a personal thing...

@Jesters (and anyone interested in the S&E Adobe products). I ordered the Design Standard suite this afternoon. I have to wait for them to confirm my eligibility (although they already did on the phone last week) and then they'll debit my card and ship it out.

Good luck and please keep me posted, P-38 is looking real strong, as for the spinners, they did tend to look conical.

Looks great but I think you are right and the spinners are indeed still too short:

Gammy, please don't make comments like that when I have a mouth full of beer. I nearly choked to death and it's going to take forever to clean my monitor now.

Seriously, John? I find it easier to believe that Nicole Kidman has fantasies about me than what you just wrote. Surely you can do better than that. Are you feeling all right? Should I call 911?

@Ronnie: the thing is, I've been using Glacier Girl as reference, mainly (but not only) this photo. It's not a perfect side-shot but it's good enough for reference. In any case, I'll re-check it tomorrow. Maybe it's the shading???

@Otterkins: Sorry. I apologize. I will pay for the wasted beer, of course.
