So did you both use the same documents/measurements or what? Were Peter Ach's drawings used as a basis?
I would like to end threat with Ju 288 with "happy end"
I've sent my explains with apology to Peter Achs and got positive answer.
Thanks a lot Mr Hans-Jürgen![]()

Hi folks!
I'm currently reworking my Ju88A-4 to a Ju88A-5. I tried to find good references for the wheels, but had no luck! Does anybody have good photographs/drawings! Would be very important as I have to finish my profile in the next weeks.
Cheers,
try these,
looking at the manual for the A-5 they seem to be the same
top one is a D model and the lower one a R model
the D looks identical to the A-5

Hi Peter! Thank you!
Clint is correct, the second wheel is the earlier one that I need. Do you maybe have more pics?
Cheers,
well guys,
according to all the info I have and the Luftwaffe manuals, the slotted (cooled) wheels were the type fitted to the A-4/A-5, but hey what do I know![]()

Below is a photo of Ju88A-5 (Originally built as an A-1 in March 1940) WNr.088 6073 coded M2+MK of Kustenfliegergruppe 106, became lost due to Meacon counter-measures and landed in error at RAF Chivenor on 26 November 1941 and became HM509.
Clearly showing the earlier unvented wheel hubs:

The larger vented wheel hubs and strengthened undercarriage are more commonly associated with the Ju88A-4 onwards because of the increased weight and bomb load.![]()
