You did a great job of it. I can even see directional spray patters just like what you see on late war stuff, especially night fighters. I'll be looking for that book too![]()

Only tiny fault (and it's more of a personal opinion) is that the highlight on the tail is a little too strong, makes it look like a gloss finish. Otherwise great stuff and a nice bit of texture.
Harriers...uppy downy things.
Good stuff Simon!

I agree about the tail highlight, but otherwise those are superb Simon!![]()
Thank you folks for the comments!
Regarding the highlight at the tail: I think it's ok! I have this for some months now and all my profiles I have finished in the meantime have this highlight. Maybe it looks a little bit strong because I have sharpened these 3 profiles.
Here is the Ju88S-3 templare without sharpening.
Cheers,
Any ideas which Ju88 subtype I should do next? I have done now. Ju88A-4, Ju88A-4/LT, Ju88A-14, Ju88A-15, Ju88C-6, Ju88D-2, Ju88D-6, Ju88S-1, Ju88S-3, Ju88T-1, Ju88T-3, Ju88G-1, Ju88G-6
Ju88P would be interesting.
Clint, that would be horrible lot of work! But I will think about.
Cheers
Epic work.
Have you considered drawing some with the cowl flaps set in an open position?
I like to do that at times as it gives an opportunity for interesting shadows and I find that it helps draw out the shape a little more.![]()
