    Re: Junkers Ju 88 A and D

    Hi Ronnie!

Thank you! curtains were not really common! Your Ju88G-1 photograph is the first were I see them. For the profile I have to finish I don't need them, but maybe for another one. Very easy, becaue I just have to reuse the curtains I have drawn for my Ju88A, C an S. There they used curtains.

Cool, good to know! How about C-model nightfighters? Perhaps they were discarded during the production of the G-1 series or something along those lines?

    Hi Ronnie!

Yes C-model nightfighters had them. Regarding the promised references. I will have a look today evening.
Nervy question: Do you have a rendering with FuG220 dipoles with 45° pitch? Would be interesting how this looks like from both sides of the plane.

Hi Simon, sorry bit extremely busy at the moment (just did a 31 hour non-stop haul last weekend). When I have some time I will create a couple images for you, but this will have to be next month. Will that still be of use to you then? It really won't change much at all... just scale the aerials you have to to 70.7% and you're pretty close!

    Hello Ronnie!

Same here! I'm so busy that I don't find time for my private things! It would be great if you someday find time for these things, because I don't think it's so easy to scale the shadow just with 70.7%. The shadow on the fuselage has to look different from left and right side.

    Very nice, Simon!
I love the mottling. The only thing I'd advice is torpedo that looks a little flat so far...

    Re: Junkers Ju 88 A and D

    Thank you folks!

Mangas, maybe it looks flat because it's covered with shadow, but in printed form it looks ok.
BH, it seem that such camouflage and meanders are my speciality. For the fothcoming Ju88 book published by Classic publication I had to do 3 Ju88 with very similar camouflage. Hard, hard work!
