I have very poor info about that P-47, I found a B/W plate on Aero Detail N°14 P-47 Thunderbolt...

It is a P-47D unknown serial number... fly by 366th Fighter Group, Italy 1944, the group used this aircraft for taxiing practice

@BLOWHARD about my last jug this is the old drawing profile from Aero Detail n°14] - Republic P-47 Thunderbolt.

I saw a color documentary film on 'Hystory Channel' about the P-47 in Italy in WWII where I saw this plane for a few seconds ...
