    Re: Using Bright

Theres actually 2 Dll files needed to make these plugin's work properly

    One is the : MSVCRT10.DLL

    The other is: PLUGIN.DLL

If these 2 DLL files are not in your Plugin's folder your junk may not work properly.
At least that's what all the plug in sites say.
check to see what you have , as I said I did some minor testing yesterday and Bright in PSP 8 and 10 work fine, but I intend on using the Bright Batch file cause Im stubborn and that's just the way I do it.

    Charlie

    PS.

I haven't tried it with PSP 7 and 9 as of yet

    Re: Using Bright

Try saving your Plugins folder and reinstalling your program and see if that fixes it .
I have no idea why it works on mine and not on yours ?

Am I downloading and unzipping it right? Does it matter where it is unzipped?I right click the zip icon and choose unzip to here which is the desktop. I still get a black flash and nothing more.

It does not matter where you unzip it. But I suggest you do it to some directory and not your desktop.
In that directory you can place the files you want converted and then run the batchfile. You can also place the files to be converted on your desktop, but in my opinion you create a mess on your desktop by working that way.

    Re: Using Bright

For use with Bright a 24-bit BMP is best. A 1024x1024 skin would have a filesize of 3 MB in that case.

My PSPX doesn't offer 24bit choice, is there a plugin or remedy for this?

    Re: Using Bright

When you work in layers you are working in 32 bit mode. Simply choosing Save as and selecting BMP will give a 24 bit BMP image. Just like this tutorial shows.

Hi there, im glad you wrote this Snake, ty! Since 2003 ive been using dxtbmp for converting skins in TrackMania. It works aswell with 256color extended bmp in IL-2, but one needs many clicks to finally get that image done. Good Job.
