Thread: Using Bright

    Re: Using Bright

    Hi Guys
I am using Gimp and works fine with Bright but I have noticed that when I put my converted file back into il2 sturmovik\paintschemes\skins folder it is a pcx file and not bmp.
Easy to remedy just remove pcx value and replace with bmp and "save as"
Just thought I would point out because skin didnt show in game at first and I
    thought it had'nt worked .
    Hope this helps

Bright is a powerfull tool with many options. We only use one of it.
You have to start it with the proper parameters. You can do that iwth the batch file (Bright.cmd) you can find in our download section.
Or just start it from a DOS box/command prompt with parameters like this one:

    bright *.bmp -o -bmp
It tells Bright to convert every BMP file and to save it again as a BMP file.
