    give that man a ci-gar!

only five built, navy refused to accept the aircraft as being to sluggish for carrier operations! bloody navy types don't know what they are talking about.

    hi otterkins,

my main program is the old Jasac PSP7, i use their PSP10 for profile colouring because the brush size is twice as big, i have Illustrator CS3 but i find it rather technical for my old brain.

nearly stalled psp7 the other day, went up to 600mb+ on one image

    Re: Started something new.

I will give you the Tornado (especially the F3),Concorde, Lynx etc. as ***y. The Typhoon was a great ,very cool and deadly aircraft(one of my favorites but not the most beautiful) The tempest (although it still had the big ugly airscoop) and fury/seafury are ***ier. I will even ad the mosquito as one of the most beautiful aircraft ever. I also like the Hurricane but it's not the prettiest aircraft (too hunchbacked for me). I will also give you the lancaster (without saddle tanks)and the sunderland as semi attractive "aeroplanes". I will even give the british partial credit for the mustang.

However on the ugly side let's talk about the agrosy, whitlley, hampden, beverly, wyvern, stirling, blenheim, skua, and lightning just to name a few. By the way I Never said all british aircraft were ugly just that they build some ugly ones.

The RN is world champion of ugly aircraft. No service has ever come up with so many hideous designs.

This subject just seems to keep on popping up. Maybe we could start an FAA Venting thread to put all this stuff? We could call it Carrier Baggage.

John, let me ask you something in all honesty. If this aircraft was your girlfriend, would you take it to bed?

she say's i can only do it when i think of a B17G!!!!,
i think this aircraft was very underated, with work it would have been as good if not better than the Skyraider.
