Some pictures of the crashed machine, the pilot got out relatively ok. He pulled the ejection handle but when he did nothing happened. In the end good for him because if he had ejected with the plane in this position and with the reported damage to his back I don't think he would be among us today. I was told by the base fire response team that he now flies AWACS, they are still in contact with him and he has visited the base since on a few occasions. When a new Fire station was built on the base it was named in his honour. These pictures are courtesy of the RNLAF Leeuwarden base photo service.

Updated it with the conical ECM type and tweaked various markings, this aircraft was a test of a F-16 style paintscheme.

Very early RNLAF TF-104G in the early Air Defence Grey scheme

Still WIP as I need to configure the maintenance markings for a TF some more.

Airframes I am planning for the Grey RNLAF TF's at the moment, I have to find a suitable one for the TCA and draw their logo.

Another family model, this time from the land of the rising sun

Need to fine tune the area behind the cockpit above the single refueling port to add what looks like either the mother of all static ports or another refueling port. Maintenance markings need tweaking too.
