    Hallo Herr Huber,

was sie hier abliefern ist Spitzenklasse und kein Vergleich zu früheren Arbeiten welche ich schon von ihnen gesehen habe, mein Kompliment.

    Beachtenswert auch ihre Beharrlichkeit!

which they deliver here are top class and a comparison to earlier work which I already did not see from them, my radix complement. Noteworthy also their persistence!

    Gruß

    Looking better and better.

My turn to nit-pick: there is a sort of shadow on the trailing edge of the rudder, just as there is on the rest of the fin. It looks good on the fin as it gives some depth, but it shouldn't appear on the TE of the rudder, where there is no depth.

    Happy new year to you!

    Re: Fw 190 A-8/R8 IV./JG 3 Hptm. Moritz

    Hello everybody!

Once again: thank you very much for your support and encouragement!

I just finished my Fw 190 A-8/R8 of Hptm. Moritz from IV./JG 3. I made some last corrections and gave the aircraft a little more plasticity. I also drew the aircraft of Gefr. Walter Wagner from JG 4, who was downed in Belgium at Operation Bodenplatte. I found some very nice colour photographs of this plane which gave me the opportunity to make a very, very worn out aircraft - what do you think about it?

By the way: next coming soon is Major Dahl's Fw 190 A-8...

    Nice work.

If you dont mind I have a few suggestions as to how you might improve on these profiles, I will focus on 'white 11' as I (and I assume you) have a really good black and white image in front of me.

    First the indisputable.

The positioning of your Balkenkruze and positioning and size of the swastika in relation to the access panels behind them is not correct.

The positioning of the 11 is about right, the font not so much.

Your missing the serial number on the tail, although its not legible on the image that I have, I'm certain that its well known to many (not me) experten both here and elsewhere.

    The subjective.

Even though you've done a really good job of the weathered camouflage, its still a fair way removed from the actual aircraft in question. The image that I have the top colour looks quite a bit darker than what you have Illustrated, I dont know if your 'highlights' layer is washing it out or your choice of colour is off.

Paint chipping like the camouflage is really effective, I just isn't close enough to the real thing for mine.

You seem to have missed the camouflage demarcation line at the extreme front of the engine cowl.

The exhaust vents to the rear of the cowl appear to be a solid colour probably black, unless your colour images say otherwise.

Finally for mine you need to have more prominent lines around the removable panels esp the ones in and around the cowl.

The spiral on the spinner looks too wide and set back a lttle too far.

Hope you don't consider these comments to harsh/pedantic, or just don't gel with the reference images that you have at hand. feel free to let me know if you reckon I'm out of line...

Jeez...now I sound like an experten, what have I done.

Why has Wagners plane red plasters on the fuselage over the extra armor? It was usual to plaste the holes ater the screws, which holded these side armor plates

Aaaand MOritz side armors are attached to fuselage HOW? I see no big screws on places, where Wagner has the plasters U kind of confused it...
Do not mentioning the windscreen armor...wrong order of layers again ?

For me the underwing cross cannot be bigger than the fuselage one...I suppose they were the same "muster"?

Moritz extra armor on canopy is too dark on the top...it shouldnt, it was on the top of the cockpit and no shadow there to make it darker on top...unless you have wrong order of layers and it is hidden under the glass shading
