Isnt it too shiny? I think reflection of light at least on the edge of wing maybe possibly less? but who am I here to judge JMS work ?okay, probably bubbles from champagne talks from me

Shouldn't the cowling be round, could be the dark colour but looks rather flat at the moment.

I think the problem is that immediately under the highlight at the top of the cowling it looks a bit darker than the rest of the upper section. Just isn't convincing at the moment, why not go for a different scheme instead?

can't only one of these built,
next up will be production versions, lots of green and blue

No way the a/c was black or painted in some similar dark colors (maybe except of cowling in some cases)! Soviet prototypes were mostly in bare metal or they were painted in red or olive green.
