Hello John, what ever happened to the B-18 you were working on.

I have not done any since that first ones (B5N Kates)on the other forum, this group would tear them apart. Wrong colors, poor drawing, markings, armament etc, etc. This is more of a science and incredible art.....those zekes are outstanding....I've seen some wonderful art here. I need to have instruction, I have not thaught of doing a grey scale form outline before but it seems to work.
ok,
i think i have finished the first SU-2 M88, anyone know different or know the proper russian type numbers then please tell me, more to come over the weekend
oh and just for simon, a bit of preshading![]()

Looks fine so far!
The only thing I can suggest is the rear fuselage demarkation line a bit softer:

They used A LOT of different fonts for the squadron numbers... Most of them a custom made in the fields...
If you lack of Russian TTF fonts on your PC -- I can give you some, but if you're making a profile of a particular machine -- I suggest you make the same figure as on prototype using the pen tool... That would be more...er-m... historic accurate...
hi mate,
thanks for the comment, there would appear to be any sort of demarcation, one has to check which plane you are doing, i think the camouflage on the SU-2 had no standard scheme just whatever they felt like doing, i understand now how massimo tessitori of sovietwarplanes.com feels![]()
this is the later wooden fuselage one.
