are you the author of the illustrations for the Osprey series? great profiles btw
Or rather some that were unfinished before
This one is good to go...
There was some discussion about some stuff that was really unclear in the photo; http://www.simmerspaintshop.com/foru...html#post30668
But I got a hold of a slightly better photo.
You can see the two areas in question better. I'm still not sure what the reflection(?) is near the machine guns.
Except for that pesky instrument mounted on the strut!
See here-
Althaus D.1119/17 strut mounted instrument???
This one needed a few details and a new prop-
I finally figured out the correct stenciling on the strut. A few adjustments and correct wing crosses too-

Don't recall seeing a better group of profiles, if there are I'd love somebody to point them out to me! Aspirational stuff!
Just curious why you didn't add it to the previous thread on the subject?
No, not me. Harry Dempsey did the profiles for Osprey's Albatros books. Greg Vanwyngarden wrote them and helped out with these some. You might also be thinking of Jim "JFM" Miller who has done a lot of published Albatros profiles including books that he's written as well.are you the author of the illustrations for the Osprey series?
Mine are works of love at the moment
Thanks GFR
I don't really know, I guess it just seemed like the thing to do??? Maybe I should have used the old thread?Just curious why you didn't add it to the previous thread on the subject?
