    Re: More Albatros Profiles

    OH CRAP...as you can see I just completely forgot I was mostly looking at the cockpit forward. Lives and learns!
    I still need to work out the plywood panels...there's something different mid fuselage.
    Thanks Elephant

    Remember I was trying to read the stencil, but couldnt find a better photo?

    Conventionally it should read: Hier anheben ! (Lift here!)
    but it doesn't seems so from the photo...so grainy gggrrrr!!!

    Another proposal from a friend of mine from Germany and fellow Albatros aficionado is: Hier hochheben ! (Lift up here!)

    Jim said he'll look at his archives for a clearer pic, but he didn't came up with anything solid.
    hier anheben wäre Standard. Scheint es aber nicht zu sein, aber was wäre mit: hier anfassen?

    Re: More Albatros Profiles

    The real trouble is the photo of the stencil doesn't look like any of the most used words. I could just be the poor quality but studying the photo, here is what I see;
    The first letter of the second word is almost certainly not an a. It could be a t followed by an r, or it's an l, b or h. If it is a b or h it is very condensed! My guess is tr or lr followed by ia?. Could that be anything? It also looks like it ends in an e. cole?
    None of it seems to make any sense really! Can you make anything of that Hans-Jürgen ?
